Partnership
An uncodified contract consisting of an “association” between several totally independent companies, which undertake to carry out a commercial activity under the same brand and with territorial exclusivity. Partnership is used above all in the service sector.

The point of sale within which, as provided for by Law no. 129/2004 on commercial affiliation, the franchisor is required, in order to establish an affiliation network, to test its commercial formula on the market.


The trademark priority search is the preliminary check before shareholder data filing the application for registration of a trademark which consists in the search for previous trademarks identical or similar to the one you wish to register.

Return on Investment (ROI)
It indicates the profitability of the capital invested in an economic activity and is the ratio between the operating result and the invested capital.

It is composed of the ability to apply mark-ups on the cost of production or purchase (ratio between operating profit and revenues) and the capital turnover rate (ratio between revenues and invested capital).
